BWS Community El Capitan 2026

Activities Fees & The Fund
This required fee provides for safety, shared programming, and the many elements that make the weekend feel seamless, elevated, and genuinely special.

Safety & Infrastructure Shuttle transportation throughout the canyon, lighting and technical support, production vehicles and fuel, additional crew and housing, and essential operational logistics to ensure a safe and well-supported environment.

Programming & Experiences Amazing Kids Company activities, arts & crafts, games, the Friday night welcome pizza party, DJ and karaoke, digital photo booth, guided experiences including llama hikes, and the brand new Canyon Flora & Fauna Scavenger Hunt.

Community Spaces & Comfort Expanded gathering areas including the Long House, Meadows, and Activity Yurt, along with beverages, ice, firewood, and s’mores supplies for shared campfire evenings.

Administration Insurance, accounting, and other behind-the-scenes costs required to responsibly organize and operate the weekend.

The Fund The Fund helps make El Capitan possible for more families in our community. Contributions go directly toward offsetting participation costs for those for whom cost may otherwise be a barrier. Every gift strengthens the weekend and widens access in a meaningful, practical way.
This is the core contribution that makes the weekend possible for everyone.
